Privacy policy

Fit submissions. When you submit a fit report, we store the shoes, sizes, fit ratings and any notes you choose to add. Submissions are anonymous by default.

Email (optional). If you provide an email when submitting, we use it only to follow up about that report. We don't add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Usage analytics. When enabled, first-party events record selected shoe identifiers, labelled sizes, result categories and completed actions using a temporary lookup identifier. They do not include search text, fit notes, email, IP addresses or persistent visitor identifiers or device fingerprints. These events help us understand demand; they are not fit reports. We respect browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for these events. Daily maintenance removes usage events older than 90 days.

Abuse prevention. Submission services use keyed hashes of network addresses and report details to limit spam and identify retries. These are separate from usage analytics. A browser contribution identifier can link reports you submit. Rate-limit buckets are removed after two days; this does not delete submitted fit reports.

Submission data is aggregated into the sizing recommendations shown across the site. Individual reports are LLM-checked for plausibility and may be moderated before they enter recommendations. We never publish your email address.

We use Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database) to operate the site, and an error monitoring provider to keep it reliable. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with you (including a submission tied to your email) by contacting us via the submit page. If you're in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), these rights apply to you.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
